At Devito's Circus, we believe in the power of live performance to inspire, entertain, and bring communities together. That’s why we are thrilled to collaborate with Children's World, a charity dedicated to using drama and creative play to support children, particularly those with special needs.

About Children's World

Founded in 1981 by Arabella Churchill, Children’s World was born out of the success of the Children's World area at Glastonbury Festival. Since then, the charity has worked tirelessly to deliver educational and creative experiences to children of all abilities, helping them develop confidence, communication skills, and a sense of inclusion. Over the years, their work has expanded beyond the UK, reaching children in need across the world through Children’s World International.

How We Work Together

For our 2025 tour, we are working closely with Children’s World to ensure that our show is accessible and welcoming to all. Our initiatives include:

• Free Circus Workshops – On Saturday mornings at each venue, we will run interactive workshops where children can try their hand at circus skills in a fun, inclusive environment. These sessions encourage creativity, teamwork, and confidence.

• Relaxed Performances – On Sunday mornings, we will offer a specially adapted show designed for those with sensory sensitivities. With reduced noise and lighting, a relaxed atmosphere, and the freedom to move around, this performance ensures that everyone can enjoy the magic of the circus in a way that suits them.

• Community Engagement – Together with Children’s World, we will distribute free tickets to children and families who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend. We believe circus should be for everyone, and this initiative helps us reach as many people as possible.

• Hands-On Experience for Young People – At each venue, Children’s World’s youth committee and associates will have the chance to get involved behind the scenes, learning about all aspects of running a show, from front-of-house to backstage.

We are excited to be working with Children’s World to create an experience that is truly for the whole community, ensuring that everyone—no matter their background or circumstances—can share in the joy of the Big Top.
