Blending breathtaking skills with timeless comedy, our show is designed to bring families together for a magical experience under the Big Top.
With a strong focus on community, accessibility, and joy, we offer something for everyone—including free circus workshops, relaxed performances, and Pay It Forward tickets that help make the magic of circus available to those who need it most.

David Devito - The Dreamer
From a young age, David Devito was fascinated by the magic of the circus. Despite facing challenges associated with Asperger’s, his passion and determination never wavered. He dreamed of running his own circus, creating a show that was not just about spectacle but about inclusivity, community, and pure entertainment. Now, that dream is a reality. Devito’s Circus is his vision brought to life—a place where everyone is welcome, laughter is guaranteed, and the magic of circus can be shared by all.
Mark (twiglet) - The showman
With a deep-rooted love for live entertainment, Mark has spent years perfecting the art of engaging audiences. His experience across the performance industry has helped shape Devito’s Circus into a show that truly connects with people. Whether it’s curating a stunning lineup of acts, ensuring the atmosphere is just right, or bringing fresh ideas to the table, Mark plays a key role in making sure each show is a memorable experience for all.
Tom - The Imagineer
Tom has worked across a range of large-scale events, immersive experiences, and escape rooms, gaining valuable experience in both designing and delivering unforgettable experiences. With a background in some of the largest family entertainment venues in the country, Tom brings his expertise to Devitos Circus, handling all aspects of the design, media, and marketing for the show. His passion for creating memorable moments ensures that every performance is a captivating experience for all audiences.
The Artistes
Rae
Rae has been training with Circus Wessex for the past 7 years and discovered her love for aerial when she performed solo for the first time at just 12 years old. Since then, she’s worked tirelessly to become the self-taught aerialist she is today.
Her message is simple but powerful: “if you work hard enough, you can reach your dreams”. And now, Rae is living hers – flying high under the Big Top as part of our debut tour.

Miss Jencia
Direct from Paddington 2, introducing Miss Jencia! She fulfilled her dream to run away with the Circus. Leaving the 9-5 office role behind, She fell in love with aerial silks. Having spent many years training at Wookey Hole Circus School, she finally joined a touring show in 2011 and has never looked back.
Performing silks, Lyra, Spanish Web, Cloudswing, Hulahoops, Fire, and most recently Ringmistress. Bringing sparkle to audiences across the UK & Europe & Australia. She has worked on traditional touring shows, theatre tours, and festivals. Troupe and as a solo artist. Shows include John Lawsons, Mondao, Happys, Tequila Circus, and The Circus of Horrors.
Jencia's motto is "Better in the Air", and when not performing, enjoys teaching others the joys of aerial arts and encouraging new and upcoming talent. She runs workshops, group, and 1-2-1 training.
She also appeared in Paddington 2, which you can see a clip of below, as ‘the flying swan’!
Miss Jencia is very local to us here in Somerset and as always we love to support local performers!

Introducing Emily - Gravity-Defying circus star! Emily is a breathtaking handbalancer and aerialist whose incredible strength, poise and skill have wowed crowds at festivals across the UK including Camp Bestival, Boomtown, and Glastonbury,
With a background in physical theatre and contemporary circus, her performances combine elegance with edge- whether she's balancing on one hand, soaring through the air or gliding on roller skates.
